Baboon Squeeze Friday Playlist

There's a song on the new Charlie Hunter record Baboon Strength named "Difford Tillbrook" which, oddly enough, is a cheeky romantic interlude in the style of Squeeze's Difford and Tillbrook.

Today, let's set Difford Tillbrook with a few of the Squeeze tracks it rattles most sympathetically with, including a couple of the stronger songs from Squeeze's later phase (a period that suddenly appears to be over twenty years ago).

In other news, never mind the "mortgage-backed securities" crisis, I suspect the most dangerous drain on the American economy right now is from lost worker productivity. For the last month I can't refresh my browser window fast enough to keep up with the deluge of zaniness coming from the Presidential campaign. Who can work at a time like this? And yet, these molecules aren't going to flag themselves. I better go look busy.
