Robyn Hitchcock is a steadfast purveyor of exhaustively researched off-the-cuff surrealism, but his catalog is also peppered with a goodly amount of sharp personal reflection. I'm usually in the mood for a bit of both, and this particular track has been forging an increasingly opulent and very welcome home in my mind since we were first introduced.
